Paul grew up in Leipzig and, as a child of the post-reunification era, was shaped by the need for technical skills and creativity. His sheer irrepressible curiosity about electrical devices drew him to the Technical University of Dresden. There he found his home in “objekt klein a” and decorated the social space with visual installations.
Between light and shadow, he immerses himself in technical questions and makes technology tangible as a creative tool with his work. This was also the case for Murat Önen as lighting designer for his debut exhibition “DOING THE WORK” at Kunsthaus Aachen.

Paul currently lives in Leipzig and works as an electronics and firmware developer. He designs sophisticated electronics for light installations, most recently “seaGrid” at “Nachti '25.”
