Anna-Carolin Weber is a dance artist, media choreographer and dramaturge exploring the intersections of movement, technology, and human perception. As founder and co-artistic director of VR Dance Club (together with Tobias Kopka), she creates mixed reality performances that blur the boundaries between physical and virtual realities. Her work bridges artistic practice and research, with a focus on media choreography, post-digital embodiment and their social and political impact. Her mixed reality performances have been presented at theatres, exhibition venues and festivals across Germany and internationally. Trained in dance, theatre and media studies, as well as in choreography and dance dissemination, Anna-Carolin has taught and conducted research at Ruhr University Bochum, the Centre for Contemporary Dance (ZZT) at the University of Music and Dance Cologne, Macromedia University and Bauhaus University Weimar.
